WASTEWATER MANAGEMENT IN HOUSEHOLD PRACTICES – AN ANALYTICAL STUDY IN BENGALURU CITY

Abstract

            Rapid Growth of Population leads to increase in the usage of water. At the same time express development in the country reduce the water resources. The various reasons behind the water scarcity like infrastructure development, climatic changes, ignorance of maintenance natural water resources etc. The demand and supply of water is not matched which leads the water is the most scarcity resources in India. The Government of India took various measures to overcome the water scarcity. The best solution to reduce the water scarcity is recycling the waste water. The researcher aims to focus on the wastewater management in household practices. The researcher chosen the Bengaluru city has a study area. Various tool used to analysis the data to find out the different usage of water in domestic activities and also to find out the majority of water wastage activities in household. The researcher also found out the likeliness of the respondents towards the reuse methods of domestic wastewater by the residence in Bengaluru city.
