Abstract

Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar (1891-1956) was a man who wore many hats. He was a social reformer, powerful advocate of the rights of Dalit and women. He was also a scholar, chairman of the Constituent Assembly of India, and the country’s first law minister. His own personal library is believed to cater more than 50,000 books. Such is his literary genius that he himself is believed to know more then 64 languages.
